TM VAMP DOT4 hydraulic-brake fluid meets the global standards and can be used in all automobiles. The fully synthetic base provides stability of operating characteristics throughout the whole period of use and, consequently, preservation of its original operating properties.
TM VAMP DOT4 hydraulic-brake fluid can be used under extreme conditions due to high boiling point provided by glycol ethers. The dry fluid boiling point is 230°C, and the moisturized fluid boiling point is minimum 155°C. Effective viscosity properties provide easy fluid circulation in summer and winter alike. The fluid contains the D-4 PROTECT protective package for rubber components. It does not have any negative impact on rubber and ensures long life of hoses, piston cups and gaskets. It is worth to mention low corrosiveness of the fluid provided by the presence of the antiOxy antioxidant package in the fluid. HOW OFTEN THE HYDRAULIC-BRAKE FLUID SHALL BE CHANGED
Control the state of the hydraulic-brake fluid in your automobile. Change the fluid on time, as there is a set of important reasons to do this. Glycol-based brake fluids are hygroscopic liquids, so the moisture-saturated or “moisturized” fluid loses its properties eventually. Moreover, corrosiveness of the fluid increases that may cause unexpected brake failure. Decreased high-temperature viscosity increases a risk of leaks in the brake system.
Instructions to each automobile contains requirements to a hydraulic-brake fluid to be selected. Usually, the hydraulic-brake fluid shall be changed after 30-60 ths. km travelled that is approximately once every two years.
Glycol-based brake fluids can be mixed with other classes of approved glycol-based brake fluids in any proportions. Do not mix fluids produced on different bases. Inconsistency of fluids can result in failure of system operation due to formation of flakes, metal corrosion, swelling of rubber elements, or formation of vapor locks.
