How often should the oil filter be replaced?

Oil filters should be replaced each time the oil is changed. The filter cleans and collects all solids of dirt and metals in the engine oil. If the filter is plugged, a pass valve allows these particles to “circulate” together the oil in the engine, thus damaging the engine parts and forming the deposit.
